Other issues which may not lead to time off work but can affect the productivity, commitment and morale of your employees include:
Brief Counselling for Employees
Brief counselling is a 6-16 session model of therapy that focuses on the key issues causing problems and offers strategies for change. Proactive techniques are used like diary keeping, breathing and relaxation exercises, communication and assertiveness skills, and using self-awareness and mindfulness exercises. Outcome measurements are taken at the start and finish of therapy and a report of recommendations for changes in the workplace is available on request. (Most clients experience a significant improvement over 6-16 sessions but there is no guarantee that they will be able or will wish to return to work.)
Coaching for Employees
Coaching can be offered to individuals in your organisation to help them develop their skills, tailor their effectiveness and structure their professional development. Coaching can be either short-term, focused on key issues for change (such as assertiveness, time management, communication skills etc), or part of a longer-term package supporting an employee to grow and develop in their role.
Goal setting, action planning and SMART targets are used to achieve positive change in employee outlook, effectiveness and productivity.
